Wednesday is Spirit Day! Wear YELLOW

Wear YELLOW to highlight the Week of Respect, a national initiative dedicated to promoting a positive and inclusive school climate. This event encourages students, teachers, and staff to celebrate diversity, prevent bullying, and foster respect for all individuals.

Activities during the Week of Respect might include school lessons created by our school counselor, collaborative projects, and an "At-Home Challenge" that focus on themes such as empathy, kindness, and acceptance.

By emphasizing the importance of creating a safe and welcoming learning environment, the Week of Respect aims to empower students to build strong relationships and develop a greater sense of belonging.

Wednesday is the last day to donate Halloween Costumes!

A collection bin will be in the L-H lobby until Wednesday, Oct. 9th

Costume needs are all genders and sizes of costumes but should be complete (no missing parts) and in good condition.

The Lounge is Stocked!

The LH Hospitality Committee stocked the staff lounge with beverages, and sweet & salty treats to thank the staff for always putting our children first.

The custodial staff was also treated to their own choice of lunch from Jersey Mike's to celebrate Custodian Appreciation Day as a small token of appreciation of what they do each day for our students to keep the school a safe, healthy and friendly place.

We are able to fund items like these thanks to PTO donations.
