January programs:

In January, the PTO sponsored an assembly program that took our children on a musical journey through history that highlighted the profound contributions of African Americans to our culture and our country’s rich past, providing students with an important opportunity to enhance their comprehension of and engagement with prominent African Americans in our history. The “Time Machine” combines the power of lasers and music to produce an engaging and educational assembly experience.

December programs:

In December, the PTO hosted a school-wide assembly, led by Meteorologist John Marshall, who has been accurately forecasting weather for over 25 years in the Sri-state area and appears on News12 NJ.

He led a discussion on weather balloons, the water cycle, seasons, clouds, storms and so much more.  He demonstrated how he puts together a forecast and one student from each class was given a chance to present using a green screen.
